My name is Jen Shenk. I’m a real estate professional who enjoys helping buyers and sellers achieve their home ownership dreams in Central Massachusetts.
Whether I’m working with buyers or sellers (or people who are both buyer and seller at the same time), one of my goals is to make sure they feel comfortable enough to ask as many questions that they need to in order to feel completely informed about the process of the transactions.
When you read my client feedback, a common theme is that people comment that they felt like I was their only client at the time.

I was home with six kids for almost 20 years, which certainly prepared me for the demands of working in real estate. No two days alike, and non-stop challenges! I got my real estate license in March of 2013 when our youngest daughter was in third grade. I didn’t know what to expect when I decided to ‘give it a try’ and ‘sell a few houses each year’. My track record over the first five years, a combination of quantity of sales and quality of client relationships, is further down. 
I really like my job, so it does tend to blur in to my free time. I also love going on home and garden tours, to estate sales, and working on home improvement brainstorming and projects (both in my real house and in my dollhouses, and most recently using found objects as home decor. Working in real estate is a great match for me.

My track record in real estate: 
2013: My first year. I sold 3 houses. How did it start, where did I come up with those three sets of brave clients who were willing to take a gamble on a new Realtor? Well, I had reluctantly agreed to participate in Westminster’s Town Wide Yard Sale and a very nice lady named Diane showed up at my house and we got to talking. It turns out that her late husband Larry and I knew each other because he had once towed my car and I made him a cake as a thanks. (That’s too long of a story…and I’m not sure about karma, but I’d like to believe…). I listed Diane’s house for sale.

Then I got a call from Julianna, a neighbor, the mother of one of my son’s friends. She was looking for a new house and also wanted market information just in case she found a house and would need to be ready to sell her own house.

Then, Mike and Debbie, connections through the Westminster Lions Club, Overlook Middle School and a charity that I’m on the board of…THOSE are the FIRST THREE CLIENTS I had. I will be forever grateful for the confidence they had in me.

2014: I sold 19 houses. I didn’t do too much differently than I had the year before. I did start writing a blog, unique every week. I began collecting testimonials. 2015: I sold 35 houses. I have found success by being accessible to my clients, giving high quality service, following up, doing what I say I’m going to do, answering all of my client questions (and letting them know if I couldn’t give them the answer, I would find it for them). And then these clients tell their family and friends.

I received a Platinum Top Producer award from the North Central Massachusetts Association of Realtors, with my number of transactions ranking in the top 3.1% of the 1000+ agents who sold homes in the NCMAR territory. This award recognized my almost $8 million dollars in residential home sales in 2015 (which didn’t even include my own home sale, which was a fair amount of work itself). *I wish there was a ranking for client feedback since my clients are wonderful enough to write in detail after they are comfortable in their new homes.

2016 – 2018+: I was named to the Keller Williams Associate Leadership Council. ALC members are chosen from among the top producing 20% of agents in my office. I’ve come to enjoy the process of helping people buy and sell real estate, and pride myself in minimizing stress on the buyers and sellers during the transaction. My transaction count each year is in the mid-40’s, in 2018 I sold over $15 million dollars in real estate and the feedback from clients remains extremely positive. I work with buyers and sellers in all price ranges…in fact, one of my favorite transactions ever was an $85,000 house. How can I help you achieve your real estate goals?
